Not everyone is super into Valentines Day, and to be honest I’m not too bothered, but I gotta say, its nice to have yet another reason to wear pink nail varnish. I’ve created 3 looks using all WAHLONDON from the nail varnish to the nail art pens! They are also in stages too, from a simple Pink Sweet Candy Cane inspired look, to Perfect Red Roses and Cartoon Hearts.
This is the simplest of all the designs, using your WAHLONDON nail art pens in white and pink, alternate painting on diagonal lines with each colour. Wait for it to dry, apply a layer of your Classy Glassy topcoat to seal in the design.
I love this stunning roses design. I decided to use a stamping set for these, which I will be posting a full look at soon! But for theseI painted every other nail with WAHLONDON Love My Team, and the others with my white nail art pen. After the base colour coat is dry, its time to get stamping. Of course using the opposite colour to the nail. I love the classic look of the roses and the simple red and white colour scheme. But it works with any colours if you fancy going all psychedelic!
These are my favourite, my cartoon hearts. Firstly I painted my nails with No Nails, No Life a cute Barbie pink, I then used a sponge to dab on some white for a cloudy effect. Now with a nail art dotting tool I painted on the red heart, but painting on 2 medium dots next to eachother so they just touch and then connecting the bottom to a point. I used Love My Team for this. I then went on to outline each heart and add any extra details using my WAHLONDON black nail art pen. They may be a bit shaky in places but I like the hand drawn look to them. I especially think the thumb nail looks pretty good! It’s actually a really nice shape for once!
Which look do you like the best? 1, 2 or 3? I’d love to know if you are gonna be trying any of these looks over Valentine’s weekend! If you do, tag me in your photo’s on Instagram with #jennydoesnails
