JARROLD’S NORWICH SUMMER BEAUTY EVENT

I was invited down to Jarrold’s Department Store to join in with their Summer Beauty Event! The whole evening was so lovely, they had some tropical punch and yummy elderflower sparkling water on arrival, talks from their Tom Ford expert and make up artist Louise Young. Of course my plus one was my Mum! An evening of browsing at make up and fragrances, I knew she’d love it!

I didn’t buy anything in the end, with 20% off I was rather tempted while drooling, umm, I mean looking at the MAC products. I did get my make up done by the beaut Hayley at Yves Saint Laurent, who introduced me to a whole new world of make up! I’ve only ever used Touche Éclat as I used to borrow it from my Mum! It was so nice to go through each step and be pampered really! I’ve even booked in for another session in June, exciting!

The make up demonstration by Louise Young was really nicely done, just a very natural face which is what we all want over the summer months, subtly sun-kissed skin.

We also were able to have a proper nosey at the Jo Malone counter, I have seriously got the Jo Malone bug! Everything smells amazing, the cucumber and earl grey scent is to die for! Such a strange combo when on paper by in reality a really uplifting citrus based fragrance. Anything citrus smelling is a yes in my book! I also found a scent that would my guy would like too, as I didn’t know it but Jo Malone is for both male and female! And totally customisable!
