hm make up

So, you might have seen in your local H&M something a little different and new! That is their new Beauty Department! Another one of the high street clothing shops to jump on the make up band wagon! And it is a very very welcome sight. I love Topshop’s beauty range and also have heard great things about PURE COLOUR from New Look, but H&M have really upped the stakes. With everything from nail varnish, eyeshadows, lippys, hair products and body and face treatments, they have thought of everything! And I love it! I picked up a few pieces to add to my growing collection. Two eyeshadow sticks which I have quite a few of already from other brands, a berry lipstick and some really cute metallic pink eyelash curlers. This is only the beginning I feel of a beautiful friendship.

I decided to go for some shimmery metallic eye crayons from their ‘EYE COLOUR-TO-GO” selection, with the dark shimmery brown ‘GOLDEN AGE’ and a rose gold pink (which we all know I am obsessed with rose gold) ‘WILD AT HEART’. For this autumnal eye look, I simply used WILD AT HEART all over my lid and blended it out over the crease so it wasn’t really harsh, I then took GOLDEN AGE and put that in the crease, outer corners and underneath. I then blended that out into the pinky gold shade and above the crease for a slightly smokey look. I finished with some eyeliner in my signature cat eye and a nice coating of mascara.

This lipstick looks quite ark when you look at it how it is, but when applied its slightly gloss like and can be built up to your desired bold shade. The name ‘GARDEN PARTY’ is just so cute as I can imagine wearing it out to nice events for a pop of colour for a statement lip.

I also picked up on of H&M’s kind of Guide Book to their new Beauty Department, its got some really nice imagery of their collection and some great make up looks that I will be recreating for you soon! I should also mention that it’s all so purse friendly, I think one of the most expensive items is their eyeshadow palette which is £9.99. So if you are looking for some budget friendly on trend makeup and beauty products then H&M is definitely worth a visit.

Will you be trying out some Autumnal make up looks? Do let me know if you try out this pinky autumnal look!

Much Love,
