Nothing better than going for a stylish evening out to see some amazing new and established designers work star down the catwalk. Norwich Fashion Week this year was only 1 event for me, but wow did it impress. Always love seeing some totally wearable pieces and some really eccentric avant garde art showcased in one setting.
The shows theme this year was CIRCUS. With some of the designers taking the theme literally like Sophie Amelia-Rose whose collection included jumpsuits leopards and even one which looked like a lion. Fun spiral accessories from my fave collection by Amy Green “April Lunch’, talk about pieces of wearable art! There were also some newcomers like Veronika Marshall who had Kanye Music blaring out with her girls in braids and futuristic eyewear! So Cool!
There were theatrics too with Gloria Termini and her masked models moving their heads very much like a doll with blank expressions on the masks and monochrome outfits. Another stand out collection was by Hannah Smith, with lots of faux fur, pom poms and clear pvc. And lastly one of the most fun and bubbly collections, by Joanne Randall, think neon, think unique, think out of the box!
I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to see the Designers Show at Norwich Fashion Week, thank to the lovely Kassia at FourAgency for sorting everything out and enabling me to go to the show!
Have you seen an promoting further designers? I know I have!
