WHAT TO WEAR TO A WEDDING WITH DEBENHAMS

I’m lucky enough to be attending 2 weddings this year, so I am putting together a mini hit list of pieces from Debenhams to show you can mix and match or use some pieces twice to save a little money! I’ve got the JUMPSUIT, LACE DRESS & CO-ORD. Three ways to show off your style without upstaging the bride! So let’s get to it with some simple fashion maths:

Up first is the trusty yet unconventional jumpsuit. not your regular wedding guest attire, but with this ditsy floral print and soft hues, it’s not too in your face. A way to re-use some items that are more of a premium purchase would be by having them in a classic shade, and there is nothing more neutral than white. The Jenny Packham bag and Red Herring Heels are your ‘staple’ pieces within this look. The court shoes aren’t too high so you will be relatively comfy all day, while still adding a little extra height. The feather clutch adds some texture and a sleek finish to the outfit.

THE LACE DRESS

Nothing really screams wedding more than lace. Don’t go all bridal now, keep it appropriate too. This lace and pleated dress by John Rocha is so beautiful. Why not try hue clashing, with this gorgeous silky green and coral combination. The exact same shoes just in a different colour. The bag too is a very light pink, a very girly yet sophisticated look.

THE CO-ORD

Don’t you just love a modern twist of being ‘match-matchy’. This Lipsy white floral set is divine. I love the silhouette it creates with the full skirt and cinched in waist. The floral print is bold and a real statement.  Keeping your accessories neutral will keep this outfit look classy and not too busy.

I feel very inspired now for my possible wedding guest outfits! It will also be my boyfriend and I’s first weddings to go to as a couple which is super exciting and a making me a little nervous too!
