DOWNSIZING

small bag details

Today’s post is all about DOWNSIZING! We all know I love an oversized bag, but for when you have a delicate lace dress on and your cutest heels for date night you don’t really want to worry about a huge bag to carry around. I have a selection of small bags, this one from H&M (similar here + here + here) is super cute and I’ve been using it loads lately. It was an impulse/needed purchase a few months back actually, while I was in London for our trip to Secret Cinema I needed a small bag to wear under my scrubs outfit! I think I shocked my boyfriend with how quick I was in H&M for, I saw it and that was that!

small bag flatlay

ted baker mini purseI love the simple gold details for the strap which is detachable if you want to use it as a mini clutch. It has a large panel of texture which look quite expensive, when in fact it cost less than a tenner!

I’ve created this flatly based on the bare essentials, of course you can jam as much as you want into this bag. It holds LOADS. Sometimes all you need is money, sunglasses (if the sun actually makes an appearance) some perfume and a lippy! SORTED!

My Ted Baker purse is one that I use for smaller bags, the print is so pretty and summery, it holds a number of cards and loyalty cards with a zip compartment for change. Because you don’t really need to take out 10 different coffee shop loyalty cards when you are in fact going on a summery walk!?
