When it comes to looking after my skin, I am quite a late starter! I know, I know, not good! But I’m making a positive change to my skin care and trying to get my skin looking its best! Where best to start is picking out a really good cleanser! I’ve got my Top 3 Avène Cleansers* (thanks to the lovelies at Pegasus PR) here to chat about with you today! So let’s get right to it!

AVENE CLEANSER MICELLARMy absolute favourite out of these 3 has to be the Eau Thermale Avène Micellar Lotion (£13.00), no rinsing necessary so its perfect for girl like me who don’t want to spend ages working away at their skin! I know that sounds lazy but with a lotion that’s quick to use why wouldn’t you want to save some time. It is made for all skin types too so no worries about having combination/oily skin like me.

I use this mainly in the evenings, when taking off my make up and for days when I don’t wear make up to just refresh the skin and get rid of any natural daily grime!

A little goes a long way, I just soak a cotton pad and gently wipe away my makeup. I have quite sensitive skin and this has brought up no break outs of any irritations.

It’s been billed as a festival must have too for its easy use. Perfect after a late night of dancing along to the headliners!

Next up is the Eau Thermale Avène Cleansing Foam (£12.50), it’s a really lightweight foam that is great for oily skin. It cleanses and removes make up. I use this before I have a shower, an even coating over my face and neck just to remove and daily grime and then I gently rinse off in the shower.

This is a really nice addition to my shower routine. A pre face cleanse or you can of course use it just as a daily face cleanser on its own. I use a combination of products. It leaves my skin feeling quite matte and smooth, a perfect base for make up with my pores having been tightened by the cleaner.

AVENE CLEANSER MILK CLEANSERAnd finally we have the Eau Thermale Avène Gentle Milk Cleanser (£12.00)! Any beauties out there with dry skin this one is for YOU! It gently moisturises without damaging your skins protective barrier. I use my fingertips to massage this all over my face and neck, again it removes make up too. But I use it solely as an extra clearer, it is suggested you use a toner to remove any excess but I just use some warm water and it has been working just fine. This is going to be a life saver on holiday for when my skin gets a little dryer with the climate change.

The formula of this is also lightweight, and doesn’t feel heavy on the skin when applying it. When cleaning you don’t want to have to worry about too much product. The milk cleanser is absorbed into the skin creating a barrier for your face to protect it from day-to-day life.

Taking skin care seriously is something we all should do. With all or just one of these products added to your routine can make all the difference. Having been using them over the last month I have seen a steady change in my skin, which is great news. Don’t hesitate to make the change. You’ll be so thankful for it!

Which of the 3 have stood out for you? I’d love to know if you will be adding any of these to your skin care routine.
