Just when you think you don’t need another eyeshadow palette you stumble upon this little beauty. Having been out of the loop on everything Models Own, I was happily surprised to come across their stand in Superdrug. Not just nail varnish anymore but a really gorgeous selection of make up products. The eyeshadow palette caught my eye the most, because a girl really needs ALL the colours ever to put on her eyelids.
The nude tones of this palette ‘Barely There‘ (Models Own at Superdrug) are the perfect combination for subtle everyday look and a bold statement evening look.
I’ve fallen completely head over heals with any pink/nude eyeshadows at the moment. This set is really affordable too at £14.99, the quality is really good, and the eyeshadows blend really easily. The palette even comes with a double ended brush, I use my trusty UD one, but I did give this a go for you guys and its a really decent brush, which hold the product well and blends nicely.
I am also a sucker for good packaging, the outer packaging its really cute with the lace effect and the ‘handwritten’ style font, but the big winner is the palette itself with its crisp white exterior and holographic print which changes colour in the light!
There is a great mix of matte and shimmers in this palette, which all compliment and build up nicely over each other for many different looks. The names are cute and hilarious all rolled into one. Oh to have the job to name beauty products. These go perfectly with my Too Faced ‘Better Than Sex’ Mascara! Haha!
Have you purchased any of the Models Own make up range? What are your favourites? Will you be adding Barely There to your eyeshadow palette collection?
